CABBAGE

Cabbages are a rich source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, magnesium, and folate. They also contain smaller amounts of Vitamin B6, thiamine, potassium, and calcium. Additionally, the antioxidants zeaxanthin, beta-carotene, choline, and lutein, give it its superfood quality. Cabbages also contain flavonoids quercetin, apigenin, and kaempferol, which help fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress in pets. Cabbages should be introduced into the pet's diet gradually. A little cabbage sprinkled onto their daily meals does them a lot of good. Too much cabbage in their daily diet should be avoided.
